Installing the application

 

Run the filie activeImportXXXSetup.exe file that you have just downloaded. and you will be guided through the installation process.

 

You can chooe to install the application locally or on your server. It is risk free either way.

 

You will need to run the executable file as a user who has access to read and write to Active Directory. Basically it is enough to grant public read and write for the user account. Please consult your Windows Server manuals for how to grant these rights.

 

The only thing you need to consider is the install directory. Choose the directory that is appropriate for you.

 

There will not be installed any third party components on your server.
